Finnish government intends to pass a law according to which asylum seekers can be immediately sent back to Russia at the border without any justification. The Finnish Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the planned law will be prepared for “the most serious situations” Earlier, the Finnish government decided to extend the closure of the border with Russia until April 14.

If many migrants flock to the checkpoint, it may be closed. There are also plans to speed up the processing of asylum applications and require asylum seekers to remain near the border until the procedure is completed.
