“Today, the threat from the Russian Federation is very high due to the accumulation of troops.

But we do not exaggerate this threat,” Shmyhal, who spoke at a joint press conference with the Deputy Head of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis, was quoted by TASS.

According to him, "today, the accumulation of Russian troops on the border does not mean the formation of shock groups."

Earlier, the head of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, noted that Ukraine sees no reason to talk about plans for a “full-scale invasion” by Russia, since the movement of troops on the border has been recorded for a long time.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov also urged not to panic because of "a possible escalation on the country's border."

According to him, there is no evidence for this.

The Kremlin emphasized that Russia was not going to attack anyone.
