A state of emergency has been declared across the country as protests intensify in Kazakhstan against soaring fuel prices.



As a result, it is reported that about 70 people, including Koreans and Kazakhs, who arrived at Almaty Airport on an Asiana Airlines flight on the 5th local time, were stranded at the airport.



As soon as the situation around the airport stabilizes, it is known that they will move to the city with the support of the Korean Consulate General.



While it is known that the protests have resulted in injuries and the deaths of eight rioters, a state of emergency has been declared across the country, creating extreme chaos in Kazakhstan.
