Abu Dhabi parking and the Darb system are free during the New Year's holiday

The Integrated Transport Center in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, affiliated with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, announced free surface parking fees in the emirate, its working hours, the hours of application of the "Darb" system for traffic tariffs, and the working hours of public transport buses and ferry services, during the 2022 New Year holiday.

The Integrated Transport Center clarified that customer happiness centers throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be closed during the New Year's holiday, on Saturday, January 1, 2022, and official working hours will resume on Monday, January 3, 2022. In addition, customers can continue to obtain the center's services via Through the digital platforms available on its website www.itc.gov.ae, and the “Darb” and “Darbi” applications for smart phones, and by contacting the Service Support Center of the Department of Municipalities and Transport on the toll-free number 800850, and the taxi service call center 600535353, around the clock. All days of the week. 

"Mawaqif" service

Surface parking fees will be free on Saturday, January 1, 2022, until 7:59 am on Sunday, January 2, 2022, and parking will be free in the truck parking yard in Mussafah M-18 during the public holiday.

In this context, the Integrated Transport Center noted the need not to park in prohibited places, not to impede the movement of vehicles, and to stop properly in the places designated for parking, as well as not to stop in the places designated for residents from 9:00 pm until 8:00 am.

Darb Toll System

The Integrated Transport Center announced that the toll system "Darb" will be free of charge during the holiday, on Saturday, January 1, 2022, and that the fee calculation will resume on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in peak hours, which is from 07:00 to 09:00 in Morning shift, and from 5:00 to 7:00 in the evening.

With regard to the services and working hours of public transport in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the holiday, the center stated that public transport bus services will operate according to the unified schedule throughout the week, according to the recent improvements in the public transport network.

Public marine transport services will also continue between Jebel Dhanna Marina and Dalma Island, and between Saadiyat and Al-Alia islands, according to the current schedule.
