A doctor indicted for providing false health passes

This Monday, an "experienced doctor" from the Plan de la Tour, in the Var, was indicted, after providing health passes to patients, learned

from a source close to the case.

These health passes were produced for several hundred euros.

This doctor had been in police custody since last Thursday, according to a press release from the Draguignan prosecutor's office.

"The queue, every day, in front of his office, alerted the investigators," said the same source.

A search was carried out in the medical office, as well as in the home of this doctor.

A judicial investigation was also opened for endangering the life of others by manifest violation of a regulatory obligation of safety or prudence.
