"Drugs, yes; sweets, no

.

"

With this brief but forceful message, the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has stoked the Minister of Consumption, Alberto Garzón, after he announced that

will ban the advertising directed at children of chocolates, cakes, sweets, ice cream and juices but recently voted in favor of the legalization of cannabis in Spain.

In this way, and via Twitter, Ayuso has criticized the minister's double yardstick - which has already created controversy with steaks - for

promoting the health of some but not others

.

This Thursday, Minister Garzón gave details about a royal decree in which his portfolio is working to

regulate the advertisements of foods considered unhealthy

and that are aimed at children.

A measure, according to the minister, necessary to tackle a "serious public health problem."

But also, 10 days ago, Unidas Podemos supported the More Country bill that sought to equate cannabis use to tobacco use -and that finally did not go ahead due to the vote against the PSOE- defending, among other things, that

It could lower the electricity bill

, since it grows, according to the formation, due to "the energy stolen in a massive way for the illegal cultivation" of this drug.
