Three men aged 20 to 44 and a 32-year-old woman were the subject of an immediate appearance on Friday before the Criminal Court of Quimper (Finistère).

They were accused of drug trafficking in Cap-Sizun and Bénodet (Finistère).

The four defendants wished to benefit from a delay in order to organize their defense, reports Côté Quimper.

The justice granted their request but placed them in pre-trial detention.

The defendants also accused of criminal association will finally be tried on November 26.

Police operations carried out at the homes of individuals in Bénodet, Plogoff and Plouhinec (Finistère) led to the discovery of € 20,000 in cash.

The soldiers said on Facebook on Thursday that they had also made a "major seizure of narcotics".

In total, they got their hands on more than 1.5 kg of heroin and 270 g of cocaine.

The gendarmes were investigating the actions of the suspects, suspected of having started their trafficking in early 2021. The woman and one of the accused are in a relationship and were arrested in Ile-de-France.

The other two defendants respectively exercise the profession of gardener and employee in an nursing home.
