"Russian military personnel arrived to participate in the annual joint Russian-Mongolian exercises" Selenga-2021 "at the Doytyn Am training ground, today the grand opening ceremony took place," the press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO) quotes TASS.
The exercise will involve up to 1,500 servicemen and over 200 pieces of weapons and military equipment.
The military has already made a march to the Doityn Am training ground.
Earlier it became known that special forces snipers are practicing high-speed shooting techniques at a training ground in the Krasnodar Territory in preparation for the Russian-Pakistani exercises "Friendship-2021".
