Joint naval exercises of Russia, Iran and China “Maritime Security Belt - 2024” have begun. The maneuvers take place in the waters of the Gulf of Oman in the Arabian Sea.
More than 20 ships, support vessels and combat boats from the armies of three countries are participating in the maneuvers. The exercises are designed to demonstrate a high level of interaction between the parties in the military sphere, as well as increase security in the region. For the first time, representatives of the navies of Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Oman, India and South Africa will act as observers in the exercises.
