Sudan.. The dismantling committee terminates the service of 840 state workers

The Committee to dismantle the system of June 30, 1989 and recover public funds in Sudan issued a decision to terminate the service of 840 employees in a number of institutions.

According to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), the decisions included the termination of the service of 74 employees of the Land Authority in Khartoum State, 21 from the Supervisory Authority for the Hygiene of Khartoum State, and 43 from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Khartoum State.

The committee also issued a decision to terminate the service of 149 employees of the Tax Office, 23 of the National Pension and Social Security Fund, the government sector, and 45 of the private sector.

The committee terminated the service of 10 of the National Fund for Student Welfare and 79 of the Sudan News Agency, or 27% of the total number of the agency's employees, which amounted to about 290 journalists, employees, engineers and workers.

The committee also completed the service of 207 at Sudan Airways, 23 at the Civil Aviation Authority, 122 at Sudan Airports Holding Company and its subsidiaries, 27 at the Sudanese Sugar Company, and 17 at the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources, the Dams Implementation Unit.

The dismantling committee recovered all funds, assets, real estate, and movables of Hashem Ali Muhammad Khair (Hashem Al-Rawasi) and Abdel-Ati Hashem Al-Tayeb Al-Faki for the benefit of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, and it was registered in the name of the ministry.
