She added that in the regions of the country there are many examples when children do not eat in school canteens because the food is not tasty or of poor quality, as a result of which the amount of waste increases.
Matvienko advised the parents of the students not to remain indifferent and advised them to try the school food themselves.
Earlier, the Federation Council commented on the idea of replacing breakfast at school with cash certificates.
