This was reported by TASS.

“The one-time social payments announced by the president to pensioners and military personnel will be financed from additional budget revenues,” Makarov said.

According to him, everything needs to be calculated in detail so that not a single person who has the right to such support is forgotten.

He also said that it is necessary to think over a mechanism by which payments will be allocated.

Andrei Isaev, the first deputy head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma, said that payments to pensioners would require "about 500 billion rubles."

He added that "payments to the military will be a separate item of expenditure."

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin at the United Russia congress proposed in 2021 a one-time payment of 10 thousand rubles to all pensioners of Russia.

Putin also proposed to make a lump sum payment to servicemen at the end of 2021.

The Kremlin commented on this initiative.
