The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill on writing off interest on loans to SVO soldiers. Banks will have to notify the borrower within ten days that there is no obligation to pay interest.
Earlier it was reported that some Russian National Guard volunteers in the Northern Military District were exempted from penalties for late payments in the Irkutsk region. The bill was passed in the plenary session of the Duma on Wednesday. The law will come into effect on January 1, 2015.
