Reports have emerged that a woman who went out without a burqa was shot to death on the day the Taliban, which took control of Afghanistan, announced that it would respect women's rights.

Former Afghan President Ghani, who is staying in the United Arab Emirates, first appeared after the flight and denied allegations that he fled with money.

People are flocking to escape Afghanistan, and casualties are continuing at Kabul Airport.

Foreign media reported that at least 17 people were injured yesterday (18th) as people flocked to the entrance of Kabul International Airport.

The day before, there were reports that more than 40 people were killed by being shot or crushed.

The Taliban are setting up checkpoints throughout the city of Kabul to control people's access to the airport.

Earlier, in a spokesperson for the Taliban, the Taliban emphasized change and said it would respect women's rights, but concerns are growing as things other than words are happening.

Following reports that a woman not wearing a burqa was shot dead, a senior Taliban official told foreign media that "Afghanistan is not a democracy and will be governed by Islamic law."

In the midst of this, former President Ashraf Ghani, who was confirmed to be staying in the UAE, appeared for the first time after escaping through social media.

Repeating the previous claim that he had left Kabul to prevent bloodshed, he also denied the allegation that he fled with money.

However, the Afghan ambassador to Tajikistan said that when former President Ghani fled, $169 million was our money. He claimed that he had close to 200 billion won and embezzled this money.
