France launched on Monday the operation to evacuate its last nationals from Afghanistan, passed under the control of the Taliban, while Emmanuel Macron spoke at 8 p.m. to detail his strategy in the face of this crisis which greatly worries the community international.

"The absolute urgency is to put to safety our compatriots, who must all leave the country, as well as the Afghans who worked for France", declared Emmanuel Macron, during a speech this Monday at 8 pm on the situation of Afghanistan, which fell to the Taliban within a few weeks.

"It is our duty and our dignity to protect those who help us: interpreters, drivers, cooks and many others. Nearly 800 people are already on French soil. Several dozen people are still there. (...) for which we remain fully mobilized ", added the Head of State.
