Emergency services and an ambulance were initially called out to the accident with seven units each.

According to the rescue service, six people were involved in the accident and several have been injured.

Internal officers at the ambulance confirmed that two people were seriously injured in the accident.

The others have been slightly injured and received care on site or in a hospital.

Internal commander of the rescue service Dalamitt says that three of the people involved must have been trapped and had to be cut loose.

At 4.30 pm, SOS Alarm announced that two people had been taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Two ambulances are still at the scene.

During the afternoon, the rescue service worked to clean up the roadway.

Three of the vehicles will be salvaged from the accident site.

At 5.30 pm, SOS alarm announced that both the rescue service and the last ambulances had returned to their stations.

The case is currently being processed by the police.

The Swedish Transport Administration stated that there was a total stop in the traffic along the site during the rescue work and the traffic was therefore redirected.
