In Florida, a high-ranking Republican official has sparked controversy over vaccinations.

"Biden's 'brown shirts' started appearing in private homes after questioning vaccine documents," Florida Republican National Committee (RNC) member Peter Peiman, a lawyer for the Republican Party National Committee, wrote on his blog last month, according to CNN. I did.

Visiting individual homes to encourage vaccinations is likened to a brown shirt, the term for a Nazi stormtrooper.

Peaman is one of three representatives of the Republican Florida National Committee.

In May, he spoke out against Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's vaccination efforts, a Democrat.

"The devilish governor of Michigan wants people to have the 'mark of the beast' to socialize," he said at the time.

The mark of the beast is used as a symbol of following Satan in the book of Revelation in the Bible.

Peaman criticized the recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) tightening guidelines for wearing masks, saying, "The wolves want control and power."

Conservative Republicans often have negative attitudes about wearing masks and getting vaccinated, but Peaman's allegations are close to conspiracy theories, CNN said.

Florida's spread is so severe that one-third of new cases of COVID-19 in the United States last week were concentrated in Florida and Texas.

Florida recorded 21,683 new cases on the 30th of last month, setting the record for the highest number of cases in one day.
