MadridLab, Moderna's milestone to promote mRNA medicine in Spain turns one year old. MadridLab, the International Center of Analytical Excellence of Moderna, the pioneering biotechnology company in messenger RNA (mRNA) therapies and vaccines, has just celebrated its first year.
Since its launch a year ago, MadridLab has created around 80 jobs : 25 in the laboratory and 55 in the offices, which may be expanded in the coming years. The new Moderna center has the most advanced analytical tests to certify batches of mRNA vaccines for distribution in Spain and outside the US.
