Shortly after 5 pm on Wednesday afternoon, the rescue service received an alarm about a traffic accident on national road 26/47, at the height of Flaskebobacken, after a car drove off the road.
- There are two people who are affected.
We have no information about the injury situation, but they first go to the hospital by ambulance, says the rescue service's management operator.
Later in the evening, Länssjukhuset Ryhov announced that a man was being treated with life-threatening injuries.
The other man's injuries are described as "moderately injured and hospitalized".
The road was completely closed for more than two hours. Just before 7 pm, the rescue service announced that they had left the scene and that the traffic was flowing as usual again.
