10 July 2021 Dutchman Bauke Mollema (Trek-Segafredo) won by gap the 14th stage of the Tour de France, Carcassonne-Quillan, 183.7 km, the first taste of the Pyrenees of this edition of the race.
Mollema, 34 years old and with his second success in the Tour, came alone after a lunge carried out when there were about forty kilometers to go to the finish.
Tadej Pogacar retains the yellow jersey of Tour leader at the end of the 14th stage, which has however moved the ranking. Great leap for Guillaume Martin, 11th today, who climbed to second place about four minutes behind the Slovenian, ousting Jonas Vingegaard from the podium.
