“Bloomberg”: The UAE is the most vaccinated against “Covid-19” in the world

The global agency, "Bloomberg", revealed that the United Arab Emirates has become the most vaccinated country against the emerging corona virus in the world, according to the agency's index for tracking vaccines.

The agency indicated that the UAE has overtaken Seychelles to become the most vaccinated against "Covid-19", as it provided about 15.5 million doses, enough to cover 72.1 percent of its population with two doses.

In a statement on this occasion, the Minister of Health and Community Protection, Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, confirmed that this new global achievement is added to the country's record of achievements in the face of the "Covid-19" pandemic. It is also considered as an international certificate of appreciation for the national vaccination campaign launched by the UAE and continues to achieve its goals day in and day out.

He said, "The forward-looking vision of the rational leadership of the country led us to meet the challenges of "Covid-19" with great efficiency and effectiveness, and today the UAE worthy of the global leadership seat at the level of the countries most vaccinated against the Corona virus," noting that the efforts of the health sector in the country and keenness on diversity in providing Vaccines in front of the various qualified groups of society and the societal awareness of the importance of obtaining them all contributed to achieving this achievement.

He stressed that the national vaccination campaign continues in the various emirates of the country, along with the commitment to applying all preventive and precautionary measures, and is an essential pillar in the efforts made at various levels to move forward in the path of recovery from the pandemic and the return to normal life.

He added that the medical teams and the heroes of the first line of defense continue to work closely in the spirit of one team, under the guidance and continuous support of the rational leadership, which puts the health and safety of society at the forefront of our priorities to reach the stage of recovery from the pandemic.

He stressed that the UAE presents to the whole world a unique model in facing the "pandemic-19" challenge, noting that this model is the subject of great international appreciation and also reflects societal confidence in the efficiency and merit of the measures taken by the UAE government in the face of Corona.

He pointed to the importance of continuing societal awareness and commitment to preventive and precautionary measures to preserve the gains that have been achieved and preserve the health and safety of all members of society.
