An emergency landing took place in the United States with a passenger making a fuss in a plane flying through the sky.

According to the AFP news agency on the 12th local time, a man grabbed the crew and shouted "I'm going to drop the plane" on a Delta Airlines flight that was flying from Los Angeles to eastern Atlanta the night before.

The captain soon ordered 'everyone support' on the plane, and several people were sent in and after a fight, the man was subdued.

The plane then made an emergency landing in Oklahoma City, an intermediate point, without incident, Delta Air Lines said.

No passengers or crew have been reported injured so far, but Delta said the man in question behaved in a "very bizarre" manner, including braces on his elbows and knees.

Police said the man was identified as a Delta Air Lines employee in his late 20s.
