A United Airlines Boeing jet was found to have missing outer fuselage panels after landing. United Airlines said on the 15th local time that a Boeing 737-800 passenger plane of the company discovered that a panel on the outside of the fuselage was missing.

No signs of damage were found during the flight and no emergency was declared. The company will conduct a thorough inspection of the aircraft and make all necessary repairs before returning it to service. In recent months, Boeing jets have been involved in incidents involving inline emergency doors falling off.
