A woman who suffered a heart attack during pregnancy woke up after 10 months and safely held her daughter in her arms.

On the 10th local time, foreign media, including the British BBC, introduced the story of a 37-year-old Italian woman, Christina Rossi.

Rossi fell into a coma due to a sudden heart attack in July of last year, when she was seven months pregnant.

As the birth time approached, he still did not wake up, and eventually fell into a coma and gave birth to his daughter, Catherine, by emergency cesarean section.

Although she gave birth early, her daughter's health did not have any major problems, and her husband Suu Kyi eagerly waited for her to wake up.

After 10 months, Mr. Rossi miraculously regained consciousness.

He opened his eyes while the doctors and his family watched, and only then did he find out that he had become a 'mother'.

In an interview with the local media, her husband Suu

Kyi

said,

"The first word my wife uttered was 'Mom'"

and said, "It was a moment of true joy that came after so much pain."

Mr. Rossi is currently in the process of recovery and has been taken to a hospital in Innsbruck, Austria for professional rehabilitation with special equipment.

Husband Suu Kyi shared her family's story and appealed for help to 'Go Fund Me' to cover the astronomical medical expenses of her wife that occurred in the process. As of the 11th in our time, more than 180,000 euros (about 240 million won) of the 300,000 euros target has been raised.

This is a 'news pick'.
