“Over the past day, on May 24, 75 forest fires have been liquidated in Russia on an area of 2310 hectares,” RIA Novosti is quoted as saying.
The largest area of fires was recorded in the Tyumen region, where 25 wildfires were active on an area of more than 4 thousand hectares.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that Tyumen decided to extend the ban on visiting forests until June 10.
