292 Rada deputies voted for Stepanov's dismissal.
The report says that earlier, the team of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Stepanov would be dismissed due to problems with contracts for the supply of vaccines against coronavirus to Ukraine and because of "close attention" to him from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
On May 14, the Rada received a submission from the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal about the dismissal of the head of the Ministry of Health.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Igor Petrashko from the post of head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture.
