05 September 2019Mimmo Lucano arrived in Riace after the revocation of the ban on residence ordered by the Court of Locri. "I am happy - said Lucano - to be back in Riace. First of all I will go to see my father, who is still ill. I intend to continue to do good and to help those who arrive in Riace as a refugee".
Lucano also reported that he intended to sleep tonight in his home. "I have to check, however - he said - if the house is usable because last winter it suffered damage due to some rain infiltrations. These are problems, however, which take a back seat compared to the joy of finally being back in my Riace. , a place that I adore and that represents my whole life ".
