This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Dmitry Kozak.

He expressed hope for an open, constructive and honest discussion of the truce projects and strategic issues of the implementation of the Minsk agreements on the negotiating table.

“I confirm my proposal on the possibility of holding such negotiations directly in the conflict zone with the participation of representatives of Ukraine and certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” Kozak said.

Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the trilateral contact group on Donbass, Leonid Kravchuk, said that he would no longer go to Minsk for talks on resolving the situation in southeastern Ukraine.
