The plume of smoke was visible from afar.
A violent fire broke out this Thursday afternoon, around 4:15 p.m., in the town of Basse-Goulaine, east of Nantes.
The fire broke out in a workshop of the Blanchard TP company, specializing in public works, near the South Pole business area.
Some 350 m2 of premises were destroyed by the flames.
The firefighters fortunately arrived quickly on the scene and managed to contain the incident using three fire hoses.
About twenty firefighters were mobilized on the spot.
No injuries are to be deplored, reports the Loire-Atlantique departmental fire and rescue service.
No technical unemployment would be envisaged in the company either.
