“So that from this year, sick leave for caring for a child under the age of seven will be paid at the rate of 100% of earnings,” the head of state added.
Putin also instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare a program to support families with children, as well as single parents.
Earlier it was reported that the party "United Russia" will appeal to Putin with a proposal to pay parents with children under seven years of temporary disability benefits, regardless of the length of service.
