FDP calls on the Greens to move forward in the dispute over payment cards. Some states have already introduced payment cards for refugees.
The Greens say there is no need for federal regulation of such a payment card. The card is intended to prevent migrants from giving money to smugglers or family and friends abroad. It is also intended to stop the flow of money from one country to the next. It has been proposed that the card could be used to pay for asylum seekers in the U.S. and Canada.
