Freden (dpa / lni) - A 74-year-old e-cyclist was killed in a collision with a car in the Hildesheim district.
The car caught the man on a country road in Freden on Thursday evening.
The 74-year-old was thrown over the car and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident, the Hildesheim public prosecutor announced on Friday.
The 32-year-old driver was uninjured.
The public prosecutor initially gave no information about the cause of the accident.
A blood sample was taken from the driver.
The police are looking for witnesses to the accident.
