Ganderkesee (dpa / lni) - A 22-year-old man is said to have stabbed his two-year-old brother several times with a knife in the course of a dispute in Ganderkesee (district of Oldenburg).
The 20-year-old had an emergency operation and is in mortal danger, as the police announced on Monday evening.
The 22-year-old German was provisionally arrested.
According to initial findings, a dispute between the two had escalated in an apartment in an apartment building.
The 20-year-old is said to have fired at his brother first with a blank gun - he then pulled the knife according to the information.
The 22-year-old was slightly injured and treated on the spot.
The investigation into the background is ongoing.
