- It is remarkable that we would have twice as much space per guest compared to a mall or a shopping center, says Jocke Johansson who is CEO of Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby.

Do not understand the reason

On Thursday, the Swedish Public Health Agency presented its proposal for restrictions that will regulate amusement parks, zoos, theme parks and similar facilities.

That the number of guests would be limited before the season was no direct surprise to the park owners.

On the other hand, there are reactions in several quarters that the maximum number of guests should be calculated on the basis of 20 square meters per visitor.

- In the rest of Europe, since last summer, they have had four square meters per guest, says Jocke Johansson.

If the proposal stands, can you open the first of May as announced?

- There is a risk that the economy will be so bad that we need to turn and turn all the bills and then we will see if it is possible to keep open at all.

Full speed ahead of the season

Ahead of the season opening on May 28, Astrid Lindgren's World is now working as usual with, among other things, security, recruitment of employees and soon the rehearsals for the show will begin.

- Everyone is of course prepared for rapid changes when it comes to covid -19.

And we have plans for different types of scenarios that may happen, says Jocke Johansson.
