Archery players say it is unreasonable that the selection criteria for the representative athletes for the Paris Paralympics was changed. Japan Sports Arbitration Agency responded to a petition by archery athletes.

The Japan Archery Federation for the Physically Disabled said that athletes who earned spots in international tournaments such as the World Championships would be selected to represent Paris. The offer was changed after it was decided at this year's domestic selection meeting, the federation said, and the changes were canceled by the agency.
