Naming ceremony for giant container ship using next-generation fuel methanol Yokohama Port. The ship is a huge container ship with a total length of approximately 350 meters that was completed last month by a major Danish shipping company.
It can use methanols, which is considered one of the next generation fuels, and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 280 tons per day compared to conventional heavy oil. The container ship is scheduled to leave Yokohamas Port on the 6th.
