Kretschmann defends his constituency by a wide margin

Nürtingen (dpa / lsw) - Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens) has again prevailed by a large margin in his long-standing constituency of Nürtingen.

According to the city of Nürtingen (Esslingen district), he received 37.6 percent of the vote - 2.7 points more than in the state elections five years ago.

The CDU candidate Thaddäus Kunzmann, the country's demography officer, came in at 21.4 percent.

Kretschmann has represented the constituency of Nürtingen in the state parliament since 1980.
