Munich (dpa / lby) - A low over the North Sea brings cool sea air and stormy gusts to Bavaria.

Thursday starts with cold temperatures, and sometimes it can be slippery due to freezing moisture on the streets, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced.

In addition, stormy gusts pull over Bavaria, which get stronger in the course of the morning.

In the Alps, even heavy gusts of wind can blow.

During the day it stays mostly wet.

Showers are expected in northern Bavaria, and individual thunderstorms are also possible.

Only in the foothills of the Alps should it loosen up temporarily.

The temperatures are between 7 degrees in the eastern low mountain ranges and 15 degrees in the vicinity of the Alps.

In the night of Friday it continues to rain and there may be another thunderstorm.
