Lille, disappointing, was logically beaten 2-1 at home by Ajax Amsterdam in the round of 16 first leg of the Europa League on Thursday in Villeneuve-d'Ascq (North).
LOSC opened the scoring against the run of the game by young striker Timothy Weah, taking advantage of a big mistake from Argentina defender Nicolas Tagilafico (73rd), but the league leaders of the Netherlands then scored twice, on a penalty -very severe- transformed by Dusan Tadic (87th), then by substitute Brian Brobbey (90th).
The return leg will be played on February 25.
