After the problems in gynecology in Värmland, first the operations manager Anna Hessel chose to resign and then the department heads Therese Uddenstig and Ann-Louise Filipsson followed during the autumn.
Now the region is solving the managerial issue with a temporary external support, a temporary solution.
- We have chosen to take outside help to form a new and temporary management for women's healthcare.
Such a solution gives us the opportunity to focus forward and handle the results of the investigations in a good way.
It gives us peace of mind, says Lena Gjevert, director of health and medical care, in a press release.
During the next six months, the external support will focus on ensuring daily operations and working with issues such as staffing and scheduling.
