The Jewish Rabbi Eli Abbadi, who is considered the spiritual leader of the Association of Gulf Jewish Communities that he recently announced, expected that the coming period will witness a large influx of Jews and Israelis towards the Gulf countries.

Rabbi Eli Abbadi told CBN News that there are many reasons for the expected influx of Jews into the Gulf countries, including trade and tourism.

The site considered that it is ironic that Abadi mentioned another surprising reason, which is that the Gulf will become - according to his expectations - a "safe haven" for Jews fleeing the growing anti-Semitism in the West, given the incidents related to anti-Semitism in Europe and the United States, which he said are increasing in number.

Ebadi said that the Gulf states could be a temporary home for Jews on their way to immigration to Israel.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the establishment of the Association of Jewish Communities in the Arab Gulf States.

A tweet posted by the "Israel in Arabic" account run by the ministry, on Monday, reported the announcement of the establishment of the "Gulf Jewish Communities Association" in the six Gulf states.

The announcement described the new association as "the first of its kind," indicating that it would include Jews from these countries.

The League said, within the same tweet, "We are committed to the growth and prosperity of Jewish life in the Gulf countries."

The Israel Broadcasting Corporation stated that the head of the Bahraini Jewish community, Abraham Nono, would head this association.

"The goal is to unify the community’s resources, such as kosher halal food (according to Jewish law) as well as religious aid, burial and other things," Nuno told the broadcaster.

Last year, the UAE and Bahrain signed two agreements to normalize relations with Israel.
