In consultation with the Västerbotten Region, Northvolt has developed further measures to minimize contact between those who work at Northvolt One and the rest of society, as well as further counteract the spread of infection in the workplace.
They are allowed to work in the factory
As of today, Thursday, only three categories of workers will be allowed to continue their work:
People with Covid-19 infection in the last 6 months.
Persons who are temporarily living in Skellefteå, as the common assessment is that the spread of infection would not be reduced by these being laid off.
Persons who maintain critical functions in order not to risk the safety and health of other employees.
No new work teams are allowed to work
No new work teams that do not work with critical functions will also be taken into the workplace.
The measures extend until 25 February, or an earlier date if the spread of infection has slowed down so strongly that a new assessment can be made.
