Daihatsu Shiga Plant resumes production of 3 models including “Rocky” for the first time in about 3 months. Daihatsu Motors had been suspending operations at four of its domestic automobile factories since late December last year due to issues with fraudulent acquisition of national certification.

The company is also preparing to resume production of its mainstay light passenger car, the Tanto, which accounted for nearly 70% of Daihatsu's domestic production in the past fiscal year.
