Lüneburg (dpa / lni) - A 22-year-old woman from Bardowick is on trial in Lüneburg from today (9:30 a.m.) on account of the alleged murder of her newborn child.
The body, wrapped in towels and a plastic bag, was discovered on the parents' property in August.
According to the police at the time, it was a little boy.
According to the court, she gave birth to the child in September 2019 in the bathroom of the house in which she also lived.
Shortly after the birth, she suffocated or strangled it.
Thereafter, the young woman is said to have stored the body in an unknown location, presumably refrigerated.
