Clive Dix, chairman of the UK Vaccine Task Force, said that the first dose of the corona vaccine is possible for all 50 years of age or older by May.

Earlier, the British Prime Minister's Office announced that it aims to complete the first dose of the vaccine by May for vulnerable groups aged 50 and over and 16 to 65 years old.

Dix stressed that the UK is at the forefront of the fight to respond, while not precluding the possibility of the emergence of a mutant virus that does not work.

"When we meet our vaccination goals, we plan to distribute the rest of the vaccine around the world without stocking it," said Dix.
