The Russian Sputnik-V vaccine is more than 91% effective.

Results published Tuesday by the medical journal "The Lancet" and approved by independent experts showed that the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine, which Russia has accused of not adopting transparency about, is 91.6% effective against symptomatic "Covid-19".

Two British specialists, Professor Ian Jones and Polly Roy, said in a joint comment in the Lancet study, "The results are clear and the scientific principle on which the vaccine is based has been proven, which means that an additional vaccine can now join the battle to reduce the spread of Covid-19."
