Weilburg (dpa / lhe) - The Korean artist SEO is awarded the first ever art prize "Löwe von Weilburg".
This is endowed with 60,000 euros, announced the Rosenhang Museum in Weilburg, which awards the prize, on Tuesday.
SEO, who was born in 1977 and lives in Berlin, has “a remarkable oeuvre” despite her young age.
The focus of her artistic activity is the examination of her cultural identity.
There is no date for the award ceremony yet due to corona.
The lion is the heraldic animal of the city of Weilburg.
