Lüneburg / Hanover (dpa / lni) - The retailers, who are doubly troubled by the booming online trade and the Corona shutdown, can receive new digital advice in Lower Saxony.

A subsidy from the state for small and medium-sized shops for this purpose can amount to up to 2500 euros each, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Lüneburg-Wolfsburg announced on Thursday.

It's about setting up your own internet shops or campaigns on social media.

A guideline on the program, which runs through the country's own NBank, should apply from Friday (January 15). Small dealers in particular have to take advantage of digital opportunities, explained Jan Weckenbrock from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce - “for example, local delivery solutions, collection management and digital ordering options at local dealers”. There will also be industry workshops to discuss such concepts.
