Wolde (dpa / mv) - In a head-on collision between a car and an articulated lorry, two seniors were injured between Stavenhagen and Altentreptow on Wednesday.
The 76-year-old driver and his 80-year-old passenger came to a clinic, a police spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
The driver had got into the opposite lane at Wolde on Landesstrasse 273 for an unexplained cause.
The truck and car had to be towed away.
The road was closed for almost two hours and the property damage was estimated at around 40,000 euros.
