The Dubai Health Authority has started the vaccination campaign with the "Pfizer-Biontech" vaccine against "Covid-19", in coordination with the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, and the Control and Control Center to combat the Corona virus.

The authority has prepared a detailed plan for vaccination steps and mechanisms, and the target groups from the first phase that started yesterday, following the approval of the vaccine by the US Food and Drug Administration, and its registration by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in the UAE.

Within its plan, "Dubai Health" targets four main categories of vaccination. The first category includes senior citizens, elderly residents (60 years and over), people with chronic diseases, and people of determination, and the second category includes the first line of defense in the government and private sectors, while it includes The third category is workers in other vital occupations, while the fourth category is concerned with everyone who wants to receive the vaccine.

The authority stated that vaccination is optional, and the "Pfizer-Biontech" vaccine can be obtained through the vaccination sites, according to the approved plan in six centers, namely: Zabeel Health Care Center, Al-Muzhar Health Care, Wad Al-Hammar Health Care, Al-Barsha Health Care, in addition to an examination center.
